Photography is my passion and an excuse to stay in touch with Art. I started out as a part time journalist for a local newspaper when I was only 15 years old. I was covering local happenings; art galleries and cinema related news. After sometime I got accepted in the young cinematographers associations of my city. Some of my mentors and friends of those years have attended and won many international awards in different fields such as directing and cinematography in Cannes, Academy awards, Venice, Los Angles, Toronto, Berlin film festivals etc. I gave my first speech in that association at age 17. By then I was published in three national newspapers and two national magazines. I had my first show at the Engineering University of MA while studying Mechanical Engineering (design of solids). I received my BA in 1994 at age 22. I had my third show in Dubai, United Arab Emirates 1995. By then I was published in more newspapers and magazines but always as an amateur just like now. Photography allows me to see things in a different way sometimes in a way that I wish things to be and sometimes trying to express the reality and inner souls of things. I like beautiful things and I like honesty just as much. That is what I try to capture in pictures and photographs an honest beauty. As of today I have taken thousands of pictures from all around the world (to be exact, 25 countries in four continents) and it has always given me lots of pleasure and joy.
