100 Paintings (original works by local artists) are hidden in the downtown area for you to find! Each painting will be worth one Utah Arts Festival Ticket an other great prizes! Adventures in Art will kick off June 19th in front of the new KUTV Channel 2 News station on 299 South and Main. Come downtown and experience some of the new shops and your old favorites. You might find one of our paintings - if you do, check the back for prizes and information. They will be hidden everywhere downtown! Go into your local Main Street merchants for your hint sheet. Listen to Todd & Erin on B98.7 and watch KUTV 2 for more details or check out www.uaf.org. It's not just something to do, it's an adventure!!!!!!

Adventures in Art
General Rules

 1. Each contest is open to all qualified persons 16 years or older except the following:
a. Employees of the Utah Arts Festival, sponsors and related companies; household members, siblings, and parents of said employees; there is no purchase necessary.

 2. A total of one prize may be won per person.

 3. The winner will be responsible for all tax liability associated with winning this contest. Winner will give the Utah Arts Festival and its sponsors permission to use their name, photo, voice and/or likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation. By accepting prize, winner releases the Utah Arts Festival, and all participating sponsors from any liability as a result of this prize. The Utah Arts Festival reserves the right to substitute prizes of similar or greater value.

 4. In the unlikely event that 2 or more people locate the Artwork at the same time, a drawing will be held to determine the winner.

 5. Copies of these rules are available at the Utah Arts Festival office, B98.7 FM, Crossroads Mall and ZCMI Centers information desks during regular business hours; or by mailing a self-addressed, stamped envelop to the Utah Arts Festival Business office. All decisions by the judges and/or administrators of the contest are final.

 6. Prizes may not be awarded until winner has been verified for eligibility through the Utah Arts Festival Office. Verification may take up to 3 days. Prizes must be claimed in a timely manner. Prizes not picked up within 5 days will be considered abandoned. Prizes expire June 28, 2004. The Utah Arts Festival or our sponsors will not be required to replace expired items.

 7. Prizes are non-transferable and will be awarded to the winner only, based on eligibility.

 8. Picture ID and found artwork is required in order to claim a prize.

 9. Winner must pick up prize in person and sign proof of receipt and contest rules.

 10. Winner must be a resident of Utah.

 11. The Utah Arts Festival may modify contest rules at any time.

 12. All decisions by The Utah Arts Festival or contest administrators are final.
